ATA Workday: Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Hello Volunteers,

We’re going to take advantage of the nice weather this week and head to the Burnside Lake Trail on Tuesday November 4th. Please meet at the Burnside Lake Rd. parking area in Picketts Junction at 8:30 am. to carpool up to the trailhead. It will be a 7 mi drive to the trailhead and a 2 mile hike in. Then we will work our way back up the canyon so it’s a shorter hike coming out. We should return to Picketts Junction by 2:00 pm.

Note: This is a steep canyon so the terrain can be difficult.

Thanks and hope to see you there.

Please RSVP “Reply to All” if you plan to attend any workday. Be aware, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for all ATA workdays. Volunteers must wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, sunglasses and hardhats. We provide the tools, hardhats, instruction, trained safety personnel and equipment. Please bring food and water to last the workday. A backpack for carrying food, water, and supplies is recommended. No late arrivals please and if you wish to leave early you will need a partner and your own transportation.
