Note: Workday Canceled

Hello Volunteers,

We are scheduling a workday for this coming Tuesday, May 5, 9:00am-12:00pm at Curtz Lake. Since most of our sawyers will be at cross-cut training, this workday will focus on tread maintenance and brush and weed removal. If the weather looks okay the hike in will be about a mile. In questionable weather we will stay within 1/2 mile of the cars. Jim and Jane will be leading the workday and they will make the final call on what exactly to work on, depending on turnout and weather.

I am trying to decrease the amount of emails going out to the entire list so if you are even considering coming please send a rsvp and I will put you on the confirmation email which you can expect Monday evening. A simple “yes I’ll be there” or “thinking of coming” or “please add me to confirmation email” will do.

Thank You!

Please RSVP “Reply to All” if you plan to attend any workday. Be aware, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for all ATA workdays. Volunteers must wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, sunglasses and hardhats. We provide the tools, hardhats, instruction, trained safety personnel and equipment. Please bring food and water to last the workday. A backpack for carrying food, water, and supplies is recommended. No late arrivals please and if you wish to leave early you will need a partner and your own transportation. – see pre-event email for details.
