Workday May 19, 2026
Hello Volunteers,
We have another day of removing downed trees from our trails planned for this coming Tuesday, May 19th. Please meet at the Grover Campground overflow parking at 9:00 am, and expect to return to your cars by noon. It will be less than a 1/2 mile walk to the Grover Waterfall area where we will be doing our morning trailwork.
Besides the sawyer work there will be some tread repair, clearing of branches, bark, and rock from the trail. The goal is to help define the most usable trail to the top of the first falls and beyond, up to the second larger set of falls.
Please RSVP “Reply to All” if you plan to attend any workday. Be aware, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for all ATA workdays. Volunteers must wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, sunglasses and hardhats. We provide the tools, hardhats, instruction, trained safety personnel and equipment. Please bring food and water to last the workday. A backpack for carrying food, water, and supplies is recommended. No late arrivals please and if you wish to leave early you will need a partner and your own transportation.
Thanks
