Workday Canceled Tuesday May 26, 2026
Hello Volunteers,
It’s looking like a serious wind storm Tuesday, tomorrow, with gusts up to 40 mph right from the start. Probably higher at Indian Creek and Curtz Lake. That creates dangerous conditions on most of our trails. And with the increased fire danger makes it unwise to be swinging tools. So we are postponing tomorrow’s workday.
I’m checking on crew leader availability for Saturday the 30th since the weather looks much better then.
FYI, we did get 400 trees in the ground and trail work done with Scouts of America yesterday. So still a productive week.
