Hello Volunteers,
It’s still in the dog days of summer but we are already busy planning for the fall. As we have for the last four years we will kick off the season with our Volunteer Appreciation Event at Desolation Hotels-HV.
The day begins at 10:00 am with our usual pre-event talk and sign-in. We will then proceed to the POPO Trail behind the resort where we will break into groups for the work day portion of the event. There will be some sawing, some lopping, some moving of dirt; and all those fun things associated with trail building.
We will return to Sorensen’s Cafe by 2:00 pm for a meal and drinks provided by Desolation Hotels.
More information will be coming soon, but be sure to get this in your calendar. You don’t want to miss out on this great event that kicks off our fall 2026 season.
