Workday Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026
Hello ATA Volunteers,
Our next ATA workday is coming up this Tuesday, November 3rd. Please meet at Curtz Lake at 9:00 am and be ready for a 1.5 mile hike down the Carson River Trail. The focus will be on weed and brush removal and some light tread work. We will return to parking by 1:00 pm. Dogs are allowed on this workday.
The forecast has a slight chance of showers and cool temps so consider bringing layers including a water resistant outer shell.
Please RSVP “Reply to All” if you plan to attend any workday. Be aware, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for all ATA workdays. Volunteers must wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, sunglasses and hardhats. We provide the tools, hardhats, instruction, trained safety personnel and equipment. Please bring food and water to last the workday. A backpack for carrying food, water, and supplies is recommended. No late arrivals please and if you wish to leave early you will need a partner and your own transportation. Dogs are allowed only on days where the crew leaders feel it is appropriate – see pre-event email for details. —
