Sept 30, 2025 Curtz Lake Workday
| After a great day on Saturday installing signs and doing trail maintenance we have a few more hours of work to do to perfect the Curtz Lake Interpretive Trail. The main focus will be completion of the 100yd spur trail to the peninsula and completion of an interpretive sign bubble. Showers are possible so we will be working at this easy to access location less than a 1/4 mile from parking. Please join us and feel free to go for a jaunt around the 1.1 mile Interpretive Loop and enjoy all the great work done by the ATA, BLM, and all our dedicated volunteers. Well behaved dogs allowed for this workday. Be aware, personalprotective equipment (PPE) is required for all ATA workdays. Volunteersmust wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, sunglasses andhardhats. We provide the tools, hardhats, instruction, trained safety personneland equipment. Please bring food and water to last the workday. A backpackfor carrying food, water, and supplies is recommended. No late arrivalsplease and if you wish to leave early you will need a partner and your owntransportation. Dogs are allowed only on days where the crew leaders feel it isappropriate – see pre-event email for details. |
