The contract for tree felling at Indian Creek Recreation Area begins has begun and will run until about mid October. The contractor will be working in the campground, at Curtz Lake and along some of the trails in the area; most notable from Curtz to Summit.

Please stay out of the area due to the inherent safety concerns with working in and around this type of work and also, now that we know when the work will conclude we can begin discussing moving forward with trail work in the area as the hazard tree issue will be mitigated to a large degree.
