Tuesday June 9th, 2026 Workday

Hello Volunteers,

We are keeping a close eye on the wind forecast for this Tuesday. Assuming the current 20 mph gusts stay in the forecast we will be working in the Curtz Lake area.

We will meet at 8:00 am at the Curtz Lake parking lot. If you have a battery powered string weed wacker please bring it along. No gas powered or metal cutting attachments please. We will work the Interpretive Loop wacking and pulling grasses and weeds. I know…sounds fun huh? To make it more appealing for everyone we will make it a short day, wrapping things up before noon with the option to bail at any time.

Thanks

Please RSVP “Reply to All” if you plan to attend any workday. Be aware, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for all ATA workdays. Volunteers must wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, sunglasses and hardhats. We provide the tools, hardhats, instruction, trained safety personnel and equipment. Please bring food and water to last the workday. A backpack for carrying food, water, and supplies is recommended. No dogs on this workday please.
