Workday-Tuesday, October 28th

Hello ATA Volunteers,

This Tuesday, October 28th, at 9:00 am we will meet at the Grover Campground overflow parking area for a morning on the Charity Valley Trail. Let the attendant at the campground kiosk know you are with ATA. We plan to return to parking by 1:00 pm.

We will be doing regular fall cleanup of summer growth and removing downed trees, so there are a variety of jobs for all skill levels. Expect anywhere from a 1.5 to 2.0 mile hike in, and again back out.

Thanks, and hope to see you there!

Please RSVP “Reply to All” if you plan to attend any workday. Be aware, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for all ATA workdays. Volunteers must wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, sunglasses and hardhats. We provide the tools, hardhats, instruction, trained safety personnel and equipment. Please bring food and water to last the workday. A backpack for carrying food, water, and supplies is recommended. No late arrivals please and if you wish to leave early you will need a partner and your own transportation. Dogs are allowed on this workday but will need to be on leash in the State Park and near active cutting.
