Workday Tuesday Oct 27th
Hello ATA Volunteers,
This Tuesday’s workday will start at Curtz Lake on Airport Rd at 9:00 am. We’ll be back to parking by 1:00 pm.
We’ll be going to Summit Lake to do some tread work, lopping, and brush removal. If things finish up there early we’ll head back to the interpretive loop for some weed removal.
It should be a beautiful day with high’s in the mid 60’s, sunny, and low winds. Please join us for this relatively easy day maintaining a great fall trail. Dogs okay.
Thanks
Please RSVP “Reply to All” if you plan to attend any workday. Be aware, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for all ATA workdays. Volunteers must wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, sunglasses and hardhats. We provide the tools, hardhats, instruction, trained safety personnel and equipment. Please bring food and water to last the workday. A backpack for carrying food, water, and supplies is recommended. No late arrivals please and if you wish to leave early you will need a partner and your own transportation. Dogs are allowed only on days where the crew leaders feel it is appropriate – see pre-event email for details.
