ATA Fall Finale, Tree Planting Workday Combo Tuesday, 11/25 Curtz Lake
Hello ATA Supporters and Volunteers,
We have a special day planned for this Tuesday 11/25, our final fall workday of the season. So we have need of more than our usual crew. The ATA been given 250+ trees that need a new home. The plan is to have our trail volunteers help finish the causeway to the interpretive sign on the peninsula while another, hopefully larger crew, plants trees along the trail to Summit Lake and on the west side of the Interpretive Trail.
We will all meet at Curtz Lake at 9:00 am and plan to work until noon. No late arrivals please but it’s fine if you need to leave early. Please wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, protective eyewear, and gloves.
Thanks go out to our partners in the Forest Health Community Working Group who are helping by providing trees and tools.
Please join us and pass the word on to friends. We look forward to seeing you there. The tree planting portion of this event is kid and dog friendly, so bring the whole family.
*RSVP appreciated. No facilities on site. BYO drinks and snacks. All tools, buckets, extra PPE’s, and trees, provided.
