Workday Tuesday, October 13th, 2026
Hello ATA Volunteers,
Our next ATA workday is this Tuesday, October 13th. Our plan is to meet at the Pony Express area in Woodfords at 8:00 am. From there we will carpool to Burnside Lake. Our goal is for some tree removal at the top of the trail, and then work our way down the trail for general maintenance. A designated sawyer crew will be needed, as well as, other volunteers who can use McLeods, Loppers, Rogue Hoes and Pulaski’s. We will return to Burnside Lake around 1:00 pm. Please pack food and extra water.
Our Crew Leader will be Craig Radach. Dogs are allowed.
Thanks,
Please RSVP “Reply to All” if you plan to attend any workday. Be aware, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for all ATA workdays. Volunteers must wear long sleeves and pants, closed toe shoes, gloves, sunglasses and hardhats. We provide the tools, hardhats, instruction, trained safety personnel and equipment. Please bring food and water to last the workday. A backpack for carrying food, water, and supplies is recommended. No late arrivals please and if you wish to leave early you will need a partner and your own transportation. Dogs are allowed only on days where the crew leaders feel it is appropriate – see pre-event email for details. —
